About Usabout usMore →

Xiamen Kexin Optical Technology Co., Ltd. is a lens manufacturer based in Haicang District, Xiamen, China. We supply sunglass lenses, sports lenses and photochromic lenses to eyewear brands, assembly plants and lens processors, and we take on coating work on customer-supplied lenses.

Our range covers four substrates — polycarbonate, nylon, Tritan copolyester and cellulose triacetate — combined with the tint, mirror, polarized, anti-fog and anti-reflective treatments a frame or a project requires.

Orders are made to a confirmed specification. We produce a sample for approval before bulk production, so the appearance, the frame fit and the optical behaviour are agreed in advance.

Why KexinWhat we actually control in-house

Every claim below maps to a product page or a service you can specify on the spec sheet.

Four substrates

Polycarbonate, nylon, Tritan copolyester and cellulose triacetate — chosen against impact, weight, optical clarity and chemical resistance.

Optical finish

Solid tints, gradients, REVO mirror coatings, polarized constructions and base colours across the sunglass and sports ranges.

Functional coating

Anti-fog (ambient-cured and thermally cured), anti-reflective by vacuum deposition, hydrophobic top layers and hard coats.

Cutting & prescription

Semi-finished blanks and finished lenses, contour cutting to a drawing or CAD file, and custom prescription powers for myopia and astigmatism.

QualitySpecification, sampling, then production

How an order actually runs — and what we will document for your file.

Quality control →
1 · Requirement review

We confirm the producible specification from your spec sheet and tell you where a requested combination cannot be made.

2 · Sample for approval

A sample is produced and sent for approval of appearance, frame fit and optical behaviour before bulk production.

3 · In-process checks

Substrate, tint, coating and cut are checked against the approved sample as the batch runs.

4 · Documents with delivery

Specification record and inspection results are issued with the shipment. Test reports are provided on request.

Certifications & test documentation

Certificate copies, report scopes and the standards a lens is tested against are issued with a quotation or on request. Add the standards your project must meet to the spec sheet and we will confirm what applies to the selected product.

Frequently asked

Materials, ordering and what to send with an inquiry.

What do I actually need to send for a quotation?
The lens product or family, the intended application, the substrate if you have a preference, dimensions, the tint and coating you want, whether prescription or cutting is required, and the quantity. The Spec Sheet Builder collects all of this into one document you can send.
Which substrates do you supply?
Polycarbonate (PC), nylon, Tritan copolyester and cellulose triacetate (TAC). Impact resistance, weight, optical clarity and chemical resistance differ between them, so the choice depends on the frame and the environment.
What is the difference between the two photochromic families?
Everyday photochromic lenses respond to ultraviolet intensity — they darken outdoors and fade to a light base tint indoors. The driving lens also responds to visible light, which lets it darken inside a vehicle despite the windshield blocking UV.
Can you supply semi-finished blanks rather than finished lenses?
Yes. Blanks are available across several products, including TAC polarized, hard-coated PC and ski goggle lenses, in round 50–80 mm sizes with base curves from flat to 8 BC. They can be contoured to a drawing or CAD file.
Is prescription processing available?
Custom prescription powers for myopia and astigmatism are available on the photochromic, driving, cycling and spherical or cylindrical goggle products. State the required correction and the frame on the spec sheet.
How does pricing work?
Unit cost depends on the dimensions, thickness, base curve, coating stack and order quantity, so every requirement is quoted individually. Send the spec sheet and we will confirm the producible specification, the unit price and the lead time.

Parameters shown here are the ranges available for this product. Confirm your required combination before ordering.
      1 · Send the requirement

Lens type, substrate, dimensions, coating stack and order quantity — the Spec Sheet Builder collects all of it into one document.

      2 · Drawing or sample

For a contoured or custom shape, send a drawing, a CAD file or a physical sample.

      3 · Quotation

We confirm the producible specification, the unit price and the lead time.

      4 · Sample, then bulk

A sample for approval of appearance and fit, then bulk production against the approved sample.

What we will tell you, and what we need from you

Where a requested combination of thickness, curvature and coating cannot be produced, we say so before quoting rather than producing a lens that does not meet the requirement. Certificate copies, report scopes and the standards a lens is tested against are issued with the quotation or on request.

      Spec Sheet Builder

      Build your lens specification sheet

Six steps, about a minute. The builder assembles everything we need for a quotation into one document you can copy, download, print or send to us directly.

      Home›Spec Sheet Builder
      1. Substrate
      2. Lens type
      3. Dimensions
      4. Tint & finish
      5. Coatings
      6. Quantity & contact

Step 1 · Choose the substrate

The base material decides impact resistance, weight and how the lens takes a tint or a coating.

Step 2 · Choose the lens type

Pick the product closest to what you need. If nothing matches, choose “Not listed” and describe it in step 6.

Step 3 · Dimensions and lens form

Leave a field blank if it is not yet decided — we will propose a value with the quotation.

Step 4 · Tint and finish

Select everything that applies. Colours and reflectance are confirmed against a sample.

Step 5 · Coatings and processing

Coatings change the durability and the optical behaviour of the lens — select the ones your product requires.

Step 6 · Quantity and contact details

Quantity and the application are the two fields that let us quote accurately.

      How the spec sheet works
1 · Fill the six steps

Every field that affects cost — substrate, dimensions, tint, coating stack and quantity — is captured in one place.

      2 · Combine several lenses

Use “+ Spec sheet” on any product to add it to the list in the sidebar, then generate one document covering all of them.

      3 · Send it

Copy it into an email, download the text file, print it as a PDF, or submit it directly.

Xiamen Kexin Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (KEXIN OPTICS) is a lens manufacturer based in Haicang District, Xiamen, Fujian, China. We develop and supply lens products for eyewear brands, assembly plants and lens processors, and we also take on coating work on lenses supplied by our customers.

Products are supplied as finished lenses or semi-finished blanks.

Orders are made to a confirmed specification. We review the requirement, confirm what is producible, produce a sample for approval of appearance and frame fit, and then run the bulk order against that approved sample. QualityHow an order is controlled

Four checkpoints between your requirement and your shipment.

      1 · Requirement review

We read the spec sheet, confirm the producible specification, and flag where a requested combination of thickness, curvature and coating cannot be made.

      2 · Sample for approval

A sample is produced and sent for approval of appearance, frame fit and optical behaviour. Bulk production follows only after that approval.

      3 · In-process checks

Substrate, tint, coating and cut are checked against the approved sample through the batch.

      4 · Documents with delivery

The specification record and inspection results are issued with the shipment. Test reports are provided on request.

      ComplianceCertifications and test documentation

Tell us which standards your market requires and we will confirm what applies to the selected product.

      • The standards a lens is tested against, stated in writing
      • Test reports for the production batch on request
      • Lens parameters recorded against the approved sample

So that nothing is overstated, the exact certificate numbers, report scopes and the standards a specific product meets are confirmed in writing with your quotation rather than being listed here as generic claims.
