Full UV400 protection in tinted polycarbonate

A dark tint is not the same thing as UV protection. UV400 refers to blocking across the ultraviolet range, and it is a separate property from how dark the lens looks — which is why a pale lens can still be fully UV400, and a dark lens without it is the worst combination for the wearer.
