Thermally Cured Anti-Fog PC Lenses

Single-side spray-applied anti-fog, heat cured

A thermally cured anti-fog lens uses a spray-applied layer that is fixed to the surface with heat. The heat cure is what bonds the layer in place, and it is the defining feature of this process as distinct from the ambient-cured route.

Price on request — every order is quoted against the confirmed specification. Price is not published because the unit cost depends on the lens dimensions, thickness, base curve, coating stack and order quantity you select.

Key points

What defines this product

  • 01

    Single-side application

The anti-fog layer is applied to one side of the lens — the side that faces the wearer, where condensation forms.

  • 02

    Heat-cured bonding

The layer is cured with heat rather than left to cure at room temperature, which changes where in the production sequence it is applied.

  • 03

    Polycarbonate base

Impact-resistant material for protective and sport applications where fogging ends the use.

  • 04

    Layer stack aware

Applied on our own line, so it can be reviewed together with hard coat and hydrophobic layers as a stack.

Applications

Where this lens is used

Industrial safety eyewear, workshop environments, skiwear and winter goggles, and any application where a lens that fogs gets taken off — which in a protective context means it stops protecting.

Ordering

How to order

  • Send the requirement

Lens type, base material, dimensions, coating stack and order quantity.

  • Drawing or sample

A drawing, CAD file or physical sample for cutting to a custom shape.

  • Quotation

We confirm the producible specification, the unit price and the lead time.

  • Sample, then bulk

Sampling available. Bulk production follows on from an approved sample.

The anti-fog test conditions quoted in our source material — exposure temperature, immersion or drying sequence, the standard referenced and the exact acceptance indicator — require confirmation before publication. The process is described here; the numeric performance claim is not.

Company metrics that are not part of our published profile — plant area, headcount, annual capacity, year of establishment, certification numbers and report scopes — are intentionally not shown. We will provide verified figures on request.
